Join us for an evening with Matt Jamie, the founder of Bourbon Barrel Foods. Matt Jamie founded America’s first soy sauce microbrewery in 2006, pioneering the use of repurposed bourbon barrels in food production. What began as a single idea of brewing soy sauce in bourbon barrels has since grown into a nationally recognized artisan foods company producing more than 100 barrel-aged and bourbon-smoked products under the Bourbon Barrel Foods brand.
Each product tells a story rooted in Jamie’s dedication to craftsmanship and place — inspired by the culinary traditions of Louisville, the heritage of Bourbon Country, and the legacy of Kentucky bourbon. From soy sauce and spices to jams and chocolates, every item is carefully crafted in small batches, using bourbon barrels to age, smoke, or infuse bold, Southern flavors.
Matt will be sharing his story and experience with us, answering your questions, and giving insight on how he went from basement to barrel.
